What we store

Palettos has no user accounts. Palettes, systems, recipes, timelines and settings are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. We cannot see them, and clearing your browser data or using "Clear all data" in Settings deletes them permanently.

Images you analyze

The Extractor processes images entirely in your browser. Images are not uploaded to any server.

OpenAI API keys

If you add an OpenAI API key, it is stored only in your browser. AI requests are sent directly from your browser to OpenAI and are governed by OpenAI's own privacy policy. Palettos never receives your key or your prompts.

Analytics and advertising

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views. Our public content pages may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google's Ads Settings. Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), we request your consent before non-essential cookies are set.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you on our servers, most data requests can be fulfilled directly in your browser. For any privacy question, contact privacy@palettos.com.
